mark planting
We decided not to plant the marks yesterday.  Today's Practice race will need to factor in that both "B" and "C" will not be on station.

I have mark "B" in my pickup and plan to install it over the weekend.  I only need a small window with light winds and I'll be fine.   I think I have man power lined up for this mark.

That leave us with "C" needing to be dragged out to it's proper location.

Got 22 - 26 at the dock.  I'll be back at 6:00

Red only looks faster.

Rich has a good point.  I don't think we should try to do the mark planting unless we have fairly calm conditions.   I will leave Mark B at HHN so it will be available if conditions aren't good on Tuesday.

Yes, I agree with Rich.

Let's make that call tomorrow night.

Since Rich, Ted, and I are fairly local, we can waste a trip to HHN and not be out to much time (or gas).

Arne, if it looks snotty when you are thinking about leaving NRL, give me a call and let me know.

Office phone is my only number until 5pm (listed in the directory)
cell number after that (also listed in the directory)

I may be able to help, either as extra deck hand on Beyond the Sea or by bringing Coyote out with extra crew.

I know it is still more then 24 hours out but the forecast is not that good for Tuesday.  Moving a mark in 25 knots is not going to work.  I would suggest get resources lined up for Tuesday but be prepared to drop the marks another day if weather is not ideal.  It's not worth injury or damage.

Court Jester!!!
I will plan to be at HHN by 1800 tomorrow.

Well, I am available Tuesday night, and my boat is in the water.

Any other volunteers? I think another set of hands (or 2) would be really great if we are going to set 2 marks on Tuesday night.

I will be at my boat a little before 6pm at HHN.

A is on station.  B is (I believe) in Alexandria.  C is 1/3 on a mile SW of R2.

Hey everybody.....I have some time today (4/24) to set some marks, but I need volunteers and a dinghy.

And I don't know where all the marks are. I know that HHSA B is floating by Red 2...but is HHSA A on station? What about HHSA C, where is the mark at? is it at somebodies house or is it at HHS or HHN, or what?

Keith

Keith,
The mark status is as follows:
A is on station.
C with anchor is in the water near R2.
B is at my house.

I'm doing boat work today so can't help.
