Sadly, the Rock Hall Pirate and Wenches Festival for this year has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. See the official notice from the festival organizer at: https://www.rockhallpirates.com. They are planning a 2021 event so hopefully we can all part take in that event next year.

We were just alerted that the slips for HHSA that Sean And Laurie Underwood reserved at Harbor Haven South for this year’s Pirates and Wenches Fantasy are going fast.
Dennis and Noel Madden (s/v: NOEL) have also reserved a block of Slips for HHSA, but at Harbor Haven Marina (NORTH).
Both evening dinners will be joint events with both HHSA and HSA1 (Hunter Sailing Association) clubs invited.
Further details will be available as we approach August.
Laurie and Sean Underwood (BOOTLEGGER) will lead a cruise to Rock Hall, MD for the famous Pirates & Wenches Fantasy Weekend! Pirate attire is encouraged at all times! The annual town-wide Pirates and Wenches Festival is packed with fun for the whole family and includes a town-wide treasure hunt, beach party, dinghy poker run and decorating contest, a 5k, rum tasting, wine tasting, a pirate ball and much more.
HHSA has reserved a block of slips at the Haven Harbor South Marina (formerly The Sailing Emporium) in Rock Hall, MD. To reserve your slip, call at Haven Harbor South at 410-778-6697. Tell them you are with Laurie Flanagan and Herrington Harbour Sailing Association (initial reservation is under Laurie Flanagan). You will need to provide them with: Your Name, Boat Name, Length, Beam, Draft, Electric Requirement and a good contact number. The rate will be $3.00 per foot, per night for both Friday and Saturday nights 8/14/20 and 8/15/20 with an additional electric charge. You will need to pay for your stay at the time of making the reservation. Your money will be refunded if you need to cancel, but you will need to provide your credit card information again for the marina to process the refund, as it does not retain credit card information after processing charges. If you are interested, reserve your slip as soon as possible because any unreserved slips will be released after July 3
We will provide additional information about happy hour and dinner prior to the event. As with previous year’s event, we are planning some joint activities with the Hunter Sailing Association.
