Racing Bouy Haulout is tomorrow morning at 8:00am. Bruce, Irwin, and Michel have volunteered. Beth and her foot are bringing a power washer.

We can use a more hands for scraping and cleaning. It’s a big job. Send a crew member if you can’t make it yourself. Many hands make light work is especially true with anchors and chains.

PS . Michel: Irwin, Bruce, and I can probably get the gear in but an extra hand guiding it into the baskets is always helpful.

PPS: Everyone: Don’t forget rubber gloves for slime and goo. 🦀 🐚🛘

I just registered and can help. I'll bring some scrapers + brushes.

I can bring the power washer and the pickup.  Had surgery on my foot, so probably only able to help from a sitting position, but will do what i can

PiB crew member Bobby Gregory has a pickup truck and is willing to help move the marks to the winter storage area. I told him to arrive at about 10:00 AM.

Hey folks

We have Captain Lou and Evelyn available this Saturday to use their crab boat to haulout the 3 race marks. We plan to get started at 8:00 AM meeting up at the HHN Travellift at the office.

We need 3-4 people on the boat for pulling up the anchors. It takes about an hour and a half to 2 hours.

After we get back, we power wash everything. (we need a power washer and hoses). There are usually barnacles that need to be scraped off manually. Also a scrub down with brushes. Please bring scrub brushes, scrapers and buckets if you have some.

The last part of the job is moving them up in the yard for he winter. We need a pickup truck for that . Let us know if we can use yours!
