Hi all,

I think we made the right call, especially since I couldn't find anyone planning to go out!

Allegiant is registered for RC for Race 1 next week since I already have the gear on the boat!

I am happy to go out early and set the line up extra early to try and accomodate a practice start or two. I'll send a separate message on that titled Race 1 Series 1 in this forum to gauge interest.

HI folks:

I just spoke with Bert. With no one signed up and the folks responding to this thread indicating they are not coming out, AND the weather expected to build during the race period, TONIGHT'S PRACTICE RACE IS CANCELLED.

This is a good example of how registering for races is very helpful to the RC. Along with weather calls, the Committee Boat knows how many boats to expect in each class and can think through the course decisions earlier in the day.

Bert also suggested he may bring Allegiant out early next Wednesday (Wed Night Series 1 Race 1 - 5/6/2026) to give us a few practice starts. To Be Determined.

Again. TONIGHT'S PRACTICE RACE IS CANCELLED.

Put-in-Bay was splashed today but is not ready to sail yet. Am planning on racing next week.

REVOLUTION staying in. Raced last Sunday and the lousy weather. Hopefully crew available next week.

Maya is not going out. Boat not ready yet.

Hawkeye isn't coming out tonight. Probably out for the next few weeks. Haven't had time to get the boat prepped yet.

Hi all, not much has changed. We are still monitoring weather. It looks like there is a front moving through ~4-7pm. We will be at the dock early monitoring radar. If it looks like the the higher end, 20-27 from the SE we will make a radio call to cancel. If it is moderate, we will hopefully head out. We will be on VHF 68.

If there are people definitely planning to go out or equally not go out, we welcome a pulse check here so we can level set.

Ahoy Racers! Time to get out on the water. We hope! Tomorrow is the Practice Starts WNR.

The weather looks good but with a chance of Thunderstorms about 7pm though. It does look wet! Bring those foulies!

Allegiant is the RC boat for the practice starts. We plan to be on station early and get the course set up and then we will do multiple starts and then one practice race.

If the weather won't cooperate and we need to postpone or cancel. we will be on VHF at the dock and online in the forums. Hope to see you all out tomorrow!
