About this event
Chili competition and tasting begins at 7:00PM; Hot (temperature) Chili must be brought in heating fixture (crock pot?). HHSA will provide power strips to plug into. Cold Chili should be in a serving pot. All require a serving utensil; HHSA will provide bowls for tasting.
Seminar begins at 8:00PM
HHSA is fortunate to have as guest speakers Alison & Chuck Spinney. Their adventures include spending 10 years (2005 - 2015) aboard their boat - Chali Ventures - in the Mediterranean. They have agreed to share some experiences with recommendations on equipment and stores needed for extended adventures, sailing in European waters & an Atlantic passage, and lessons learned.
